What is Photo Intaglio?
These images are produced from a UV sensitive plate available from Z*Acryl. Color transparencies are prepared and then laid on top of the plate as it is exposed to sunlight. Then the plate is washed and the un-exposed areas wash out. After that, the plate is left in the sun to fully cure. From that point on the plate is printed like a traditional Intaglio plate. |
